November 8, 2007 - Skagit Valley Herald - Commissioners, PUD may meet to discuss fluoride
County Administrator Gary Rowe said he plans to send a formal letter to the PUD by the end of the week to propose a [face-to-face] meeting, which would be the first on fluoridation between the two boards. PUD Commissioner Jim Cook also welcomed the idea, but said it would have been better if the county had met with the PUD before it issued a fluoridation mandate. PUD Commissioner Robbie Robertson, on the other hand, was unsure that a public meeting at this stage was the best option. "Once there's an agreement in principle between the county and the PUD, by all means, I'm going to insist that there be a public meeting."
